The Executive Chairman, Amuwo-Odofin LG, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh, the Executive, Legislative and Management team received the House Committee on Local Government chaired by Hon. Olawale O.A. on Wednesday.
The team shortly after its arrival entered into a closed door meeting with the legislative, Executive and Management. Addressing topical issues on the smooth operations of the local government.
The committee then went ahead to emphasize on the need for cooperation in the interest of the progress of the local government.
The committee took time to inspect the legislative building, duly commending on the proper upkeep of the place in line with global best practice. They also were in awe upon visiting the proposed Ultramodern PHC at its finishing stage. This earned a remarkable thumbs up from the legislators.
The Mayor, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh thanked the committee for making themselves available for the tedious plan of assessment across the local government. He promised that his administration will draw guidance from the suggestions made.
