It was an atmosphere of carnival and fanfare at Sunday Adigun street Alausa venue of the occasion where Alhaja Sikirat Ejide was installed as Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Iyaloja- General by Mrs. Folashade Tinubu Ojo.
In her address, Iyaloja General of Lagos implored the new Iyaloja- General of Oshodi-Isolo Local government to rise to the responsibilities expected of her office and ensure all markets under her control comply with Lagos Market regulations and wished her reign promotes peace in her domain.
” I present to you staff of office as the new Iyaloja general Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, may your reign continue to harmonize your members, bring happiness and joyful moments in your domain and Lagos state. I implore you to ensure strict compliance with Lagos State Market regulations ” Iyaloja Afolashade Ojo concluded.
The new Iyaloja who was gorgeously dressed in white headgear, neck bead with matching slippers to match her attire was a paragon of beauty and in her class of a true market leader who understands fashion was full of smiles as she received her staff of office with a loud ovation from the crowd.
Alhaja Sikirat Ejide thanked the Lagos State Government, Iyaloja general of Nigeria Mrs. Folashade Tinubu Ojo, Oshodi-Isolo local government chairman, market men and women in Oshodi-Isolo local government, all the dignitaries for their support and promised to sustain the progress and peace in Oshodi market with great contributions to market associations in Lagos state.
