On the 5th of December 2020, 310 new confirmed cases and 1 death was recorded in Nigeria
Till date, 68,937 cases have been confirmed, 64,650 cases have been discharged and 1,180 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
The 310 new cases are reported from 12 states- FCT (128), Lagos (86), Kaduna (26), Katsina (20), Rivers (19), Oyo (7), Benue (5), Edo (5), Jigawa (5), Ogun (5), Bayelsa (2) and Kano (2)
A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities
