Coronavirus: Nigeria records 325 new cases, Lagos leads state statistics

NCDC Update as at 15th August 2020

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 325 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country midnight Saturday.

The federal agency the twitter handle stated that the nation’s epicenter, Lagos led the state statistics with 87 new cases and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) recorded 49.

Others are Gombe-28, Ebonyi-20, Plateau-19, Kwara-18, Enugu-17, Imo-12, Rivers-12, Kaduna-11, Ogun-10, Edo-9, Oyo-9, Ondo-8, Osun-8, Ekiti-4, Borno-1, Kano-1, Bauchi-1 and Nasarawa-1

Nigeria now has a total of 48,770 confirmed, while 36,290 has been discharged and 974 deaths recorded.
