Coronnavirus: NCDC records 204 new cases in Nigeria

As at 11:50pm 30th April, there are 1932 confirmed cases in Nigeria. 319 patients have been discharged and 58 deaths recorded.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded its highest Coronavirus infections in Nigeria for a single day, with a total of 204 news cases across the states on Thursday.

This takes the national sum up of coronavirus infections to 1,932.

In the figures released by the NCDC on the twitter handle, @NCDCgov, Kano topped with 80 new confirmed cases, while Lagos has 45 new infections.

Lagos has always been at the top, but Kano overtakes in Thursday’s released infections.

Gombe also ramp up 12 new cases, Bauchi and Sokoto, nine cases each, while Borno and Edo recorded seven new cases each.

Rivers and Ogun rake in six new cases each, while FCT, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa got four new cases each.

Kaduna received three new infections, just as Oyo, Delta and Nasarawa got two cases each, while Ondo and Kebbi got one case each.

“204 new cases of #COVID19 reported; As at 11:50pm 30th April- there are 1,932 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. Discharged: 319, Deaths: 58,” NCDC said on its twitter handle.
