Faleke Inaugurates Ikeja Federal Constituency Central Working Committee, Charges APC Stakeholders on Grassroots Mobilisation

The distinguished Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, has inaugurated the Ikeja Federal Constituency Central Working Committee at the Oranmiyan Hall, Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

The event, held on Saturday, brought together All Progressives Congress, APC leaders, stakeholders, and committee members as the constituency officially commenced preparations for the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at the inauguration, Rt. Hon. Faleke commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic policies, stating that the administration had taken significant steps towards stabilising the Nigerian economy and moving the country out of recession.

The lawmaker highlighted the growth in Nigeria’s foreign reserves, noting that the country had, for the first time in its history, surpassed the $50 billion mark in foreign reserve holdings.

Faleke also praised the President’s educational intervention programmes, particularly the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), referencing the viral video of Yobe State University students expressing appreciation for the interest-free student loan initiative.

He urged members of the Central Campaign Committee and the various Local Government Area (LGA) committees to embark on aggressive grassroots mobilisation, including door-to-door campaigns, to secure victory for all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.

“This is the first time we are setting up a campaign committee of this magnitude in Ikeja Federal Constituency, and we are committed to delivering results. This is not a caucus affair; it is a deliberate selection of all critical stakeholders who will help market the good work of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and ensure victory for APC,” Faleke stated.

The inauguration marked a significant milestone in the constituency’s political activities, as stakeholders pledged to work together to strengthen grassroots engagement, promote the achievements of the APC-led administration, and coordinate effective campaign strategies ahead of the 2027 polls.
