The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has extended warm Easter greetings to residents, as Christians worldwide celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In his message, the Chairman described Easter as a sacred season that embodies hope, renewal, sacrifice, and the triumph of light over darkness.
He urged residents to reflect on the core values of love, unity, and selfless service, which the season represents.
Comrade Dauda called on the people of Ikeja to embrace peace, tolerance, and communal harmony, stressing the need for collective efforts in building a more inclusive, progressive, and prosperous society.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering people-oriented governance, sustainable development, and improved welfare for all residents.
