The trainees showcased premium produce—including yellow, red and green bell peppers, habanero peppers and cucumbers—cultivated through advanced Soilless and hydroponics techniques. They expressed gratitude to the council leadership for providing transformative agricultural training that is creating new pathways for youth empowerment and enterprise development.

Hon. Odunmbaku, on receiving the fresh harvest, praised the youths for their commitment and the impressive quality of their output. He noted that their success reflects the council’s ongoing drive to promote innovation, enhance food security and expand economic opportunities within Ojodu LCDA.

The Chairman assured the young agripreneurs and the programme facilitator, Mr. Akin Alabi, of sustained government backing. He announced plans to integrate the beneficiaries into the Ojodu Food Mart initiative to guarantee them direct market access for their produce. He further pledged additional financial and technical support, alongside inclusion in upcoming agricultural programmes aimed at deepening youth participation in modern farming.
