The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is far more than a political slogan, describing it as “a living testament to visionary leadership anchored on youth empowerment and national transformation.”
In a statement signed by the party’s spokesman, Hon. Seye Oladejo (Mogaji), the Lagos APC noted that President Tinubu’s consistent belief in the capacity of young Nigerians has translated into tangible opportunities for innovation, leadership, and enterprise across the nation.
“From Lagos to Abuja, Asiwaju Tinubu’s political philosophy has remained steadfast — groom the young, trust their talent, and watch them transform society. That same principle is now the foundation of Nigeria’s national rebirth,” the statement read.
From Promises to Empowerment
The APC emphasized that, unlike previous administrations that offered only empty promises, the Tinubu government has delivered practical initiatives such as the NELFUND (Student Loan Scheme), CreditCorp, 3MTT, NITDA Talent Hunt, and the Digital Innovation Support Fund — all designed to empower young Nigerians with education, finance, and digital skills.
It added that the administration’s renewed focus on free technical and vocational education is not an act of charity, but a strategic investment in Nigeria’s workforce and future prosperity.
“President Tinubu is building a generation of creators — young people who are no longer waiting for handouts but are now generating wealth and opportunities for others,” the party stated.
The Future Is Now
According to the statement, President Tinubu has redefined the idea that “the future belongs to the youth,” asserting that under the Renewed Hope Agenda, “the future is no longer tomorrow — the future is now.”
Through inclusive appointments and policy direction, Tinubu has placed young Nigerians at the heart of governance, proving that youth participation is not a favour but a foundation for national greatness.
Opposition Without Vision
The Lagos APC also criticized opposition parties for attempting to mislead Nigerian youth through “shallow activism and social media propaganda.”
“The truth is clear: the youth know who genuinely invests in their future and who only remembers them during election season,” the statement said.
“While others are tweeting promises, the APC government is teaching, training, financing, and employing the youth. Every policy under the Renewed Hope Agenda has one goal — to make the Nigerian youth creators of wealth, not victims of unemployment.”
Lagos: The Model of Youthful Leadership
Highlighting Lagos as the foundation of Tinubu’s youth development model, the party noted that the state has produced countless young leaders through deliberate mentorship and inclusive governance — a model now being replicated nationwide.
Renewed Hope: A Youth Movement
The Lagos APC urged Nigerian youth to take ownership of this transformative era, describing the Renewed Hope Agenda as “their movement, their opportunity, and their legacy.”
“Under Tinubu, youth empowerment has moved from hashtags to headlines — from potential to performance,” Hon. Oladejo concluded.
“Those who cling to the politics of bitterness are free to stay behind. The rest of us are moving forward — building, creating, and leading under a President who has proven that the Nigerian youth are not the leaders of tomorrow, but the champions of today.”
