A HEART-FELT APPRECIATION TO THE GOOD PEOPLE OF IKEJA

First and foremost, I return all glory, honour, and adoration to Almighty God for His grace, mercy, and divine favour throughout this journey. Without Him, this victory would not have been possible.

I pay special tribute to my late political mentor and mother of blessed memory, Chief (Mrs.) Olukemi Nelson, whose legacy, teachings, and selfless service to humanity continue to inspire my path. May her soul continue to rest in perfect peace.

My sincere gratitude goes to a true leader and pillar of strength, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke (MHR, Ikeja Federal Constituency). Thank you, sir, for standing firmly by the truth and for your unwavering moral and financial support from the beginning to the end of this journey. Your courage and loyalty to the people of Ikeja are deeply appreciated.

To my immediate family, my loving wife and wonderful children; thank you for your unwavering support, patience, understanding, and love. Your sacrifices behind the scene were the bedrock of my strength.

I also extend my heartfelt appreciation to all the 20 Apex Leaders in Ikeja Local Government, whose wisdom, guidance, and collective decision-making paved the way for this moment. Your commitment to our great party and to the future of Ikeja is commendable.

To our outgoing Chairman in Ikeja Local Government, Hon. Mojeed Balogun, Ph.D, FNSE, I thank you for your support in the course of this race. Your contributions to our Local Government shall always be remembered.

To the State Executive Council of our great party, the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, the Local Government Executive Committee, Ikeja LGA, led by our indefatigable leader, Mayegun Dally Adeokun, the Local Organizing Committee of our Campaign led by Sir. O’Brittos, the Ward Excos, Party Stalwarts, Party Members, the Youth and Women groups, Community Leaders, Religious Bodies, and the entire APC family across Ikeja, thank you all for your trust, dedication, and unmatched commitment to our shared vision.

To the resilient and good people of Ikeja, I am deeply humbled and honoured by the overwhelming support and confidence you have reposed in me by voting for me as your next Executive Chairman. Your voice was loud and clear and your votes truly counted.

It is on this note that I also congratulate all the Councilors-elect in the entire six Wards of Ikeja Local Government. I look forward to a very cordial, stimulating, result-driven and people-centric Executive-Legislative Working Synergy with you all.

Let me state clearly that there is no victor, and no vanquished. The time for politics is over. Now is the time for governance; governance that will be inclusive, transparent, and people-oriented. We must move forward together in unity to achieve the I.K.E.J.A Agenda; the Ikeja of our shared dreams and vision.

I assure you, with every sense of responsibility and sincerity, that by the grace of Almighty God, I will not let you down. Your trust will not be taken for granted and your votes will translate into visible development, effective service delivery and improved quality of life for all.

Together, we will build a greater Ikeja.

E-signed:
