Why Ambode Must Be Re-Elected In Lagos – Groups

Two socio-political groups operating under the aegis of Itesiwaju Ipinle Eko Vangard and United Christian Family Initiative have pledged their unalloyed support for the re- election of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for a second tenure, saying re-electing him will further boost economic prosperity of the state.

The groups in a statement jointly signed by the Coordinator of the Itesiwaju Ipinle Eko Vangard, Seyi Bamigade and Chairman, United Christian Family Initiative, Pastor Israel Alagbe made available to journalists in Lagos stressed that they were convinced that his developmental strides could be consolidated if given a second term in office.

According to them, having watched carefully the policies and programmes of Ambode for the past years in areas such as security, education, road construction and other infrastructural developments, they have vowed to sensitize and mobilize the populace in Lagos state with particular reference to those without permanent voters cards (PVC) to register, to enable them participate actively in the election.

The groups also stated that the sensitization and canvassing exercise would be a continuous activity till the election will hold on February 16 , 2019.

“This is one governor so passionate about the development of the state. All residents in Lagos state are advised to support Akinwunmi Ambode’s administration to get the dividends of democracy.

“Due to his sterling qualities, monumental development strides and milestone achievements as governor of Lagos State till date, we have no other candidate than Akinwunmi  Ambode”

They posited that a victory for Ambode is a victory for the Lagosians and all patriotic sons and daughters of Yoruba race in Nigeria.

Also speaking, Kayode Tinubu, Secretary of United Christian Family Initiative, said the organization as incorporated with Itesiwaju Ipinle Eko Vangard are ready to mobilize all Christians in Lagos State come 2019 because of the uncommon achievement of the governor.
