Lagos APC cautions aspirants breaching LASIEC Electoral Guidelines

The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress has warned aspirants for the forthcoming local government elections to desist from breaching Electoral Laws by erecting banners, flex, etc. in Wards and LGAs, given that the Electoral Body has yet to issue guidelines or lift the ban on campaigning for the upcoming LG Elections.

This warning was contained in a communique signed by Mayegun Dally-Adeokun, Chair of Chair Conference 57 LGA, APC Chairmen in Lagos State.

The Chair of Chair further instructed the LGA chairmen to direct aspirants to remove such banners, flex, etc. within 48 hours, with non-compliance resulting in severe sanctions, and also ensured Ward chairmen supervise the removal of such materials.

LGA/LCDA CHAIRMEN.

 

ASPIRANTS FLOUTING LASIEC ELECTORAL GUIDELINES .

 

The Party Secretariat (ACME) has received a very serious complaints from LASIEC about our Aspirants flouting Electroal Laws by displaying banners, flex,etc in our Wards and LGA when the Electoral Body has not issued guidelines nor lifted Campaign for the upcoming LG Elections.

 

In view of this, the State Chairman has directed the LGA chairmen to as a matter of urgency instruct all Aspirants to remove such banners, flex, etc in our Wards and LG within the next 48 hours failure which will attract severe sanctions.

 

Please ensure that your Ward chairmen supervise the removal of such banners, flex, etc by the affected Aspirants.
