In a bid to provide Fellows of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA) with actionable insights to advance their leadership journeys, the Fellows engaged Mr. Ranti Omole, Founder and Group Managing Director of Radial Circle in a thought-provoking Fireside Chat.

Renowned for his expertise in the engineering, commissioning, and procurement sectors, Mr. Omole delivered profound insights on leadership, entrepreneurship, and sustainable business practices.

During the session, he encouraged the Fellows to focus on addressing deep, fundamental problems rather than merely tackling surface-level issues. He emphasised that true leaders and entrepreneurs stand out by cultivating a unique competitive edge that sets them apart from the rest.

“Leadership is about tackling real challenges and innovating with purpose. You must differentiate yourself by focusing on the bigger picture and by being accountable to the people you serve”, he stated.

Omole further emphasised the importance of continuous learning, obtaining certifications, and developing skills, noting that personal growth is vital for achieving enduring success.

“Never stop learning; skill development and certifications are essential tools to navigate challenges. However, it is your passion, creativity, and intentionality that will ultimately shape your success”, he advised.

Echoing Mr. Omole’s sentiments, Mrs. Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade, the Executive Secretary of the Academy, commended the session as a significant stride in equipping the Fellows with the tools necessary for transformative leadership.

“This Fireside Chat has reinforced the core principles that define our mission at LJLA, inspiring purposeful action and fostering leadership that creates lasting impact”, she said.
