Protests: LASU resumes Tuesday

Following the end of the hunger protests in Lagos, the management of the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has directed directed that academic and administrative activities resume on Tuesday.

Following the end of the hunger protests in Lagos, the management of the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has directed directed that academic and administrative activities resume on Tuesday.

Last Wednesday, the university suspended all activities for security reasons as the protests were set to commence the day that followed.

But in a statement by Coordinator, Centre for Information and Public Relations, Oluwayemisi Thomas-Onashile, the institution directed said students and workers to resume today.

The statement also advised them to be security conscious.
