2027: Lagos APC Unveils Primary Elections Committee, Releases Full Membership List

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has constituted a Local Organising Committee to coordinate and supervise the party’s primary elections ahead of the 2027 political season.

The committee, officially inaugurated on Saturday, May 9, 2026, is expected to oversee the administrative, strategic and operational framework for the conduct of the primaries across the state.

Leading the committee is Mutiu Are, Secretary of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), who will serve as Chairman, while the Special Adviser to the Governor on Works, Olayinka Adekunle, will function as Secretary.

The party also constituted various strategic sub-committees to drive planning, mobilisation, security, publicity and special operations for the exercise.
