
The amiable wife of the Member House of Representatives for Ikeja Federal Constituency, Rt. James Faleke, Chief Mrs. Bukola Faleke, ably supported by the Chairperson APC Ojodu LG, Alhaja Olusola Kokumo on Wednesday led All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart and other faithful across the Ikeja Federal Constituency to a consultative visitation to the palace of the Olu of Ikeja, where they were received by the Regent of Ikeja-Land, Prince Adekunle Isiaka Apena and other Council of Ikeja Traditional Chiefs to seek their supports for all the APC candidates for the 2023 general elections

Chief Mrs. Faleke during the consultative meeting expressed her sincere gratitude and appreciation for all the support her husband and party have received from the traditional Council in previous elections and promised that their support and loyalty will not be taken for granted.
The Yeye-Atunluse Akorede of Ikeja-Land urged them to enlighten all their subjects on the need to ensure that everyone vote for all the APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections that include the APC Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the reelection of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, elect Dr. Mrs. Idiat Adebule for Lagos West Senatorial District and the reelection of her husband Rt. Hon James Abiodun Faleke, who resident of Ikeja can attest to his top-notch quality representation of the people of Ikeja Federal Constituency.

She also appealed to the traditional Council to ensure the victory of Hon Seyi Lawal and the reelection of Hon Adedamola Richard Kasunmu for both Ikeja Constituency 1 and 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly respectively
The Regent of Ikeja-Land, Prince Adekunle Isiaka Apena in his response said that Rt. Hon Faleke’s aspiration is a welcome development and blessing to the people of Ikeja Land, considering his remarkable performance and political antecedent
He further stated that they’ve already commenced work in ensuring victories for all the APC candidates most especially Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to become the next president of Nigeria and to reelect Rt. Hon Faleke because of the excellent representation and massive economic empowerment to the residents of Ikeja which include distribution of 400 hundred minibusses to youths and vocational training with cash grants and equipment to well over 5,000 youths, women and elderlies.
Prince Apena asserted that “Faleke has done so much that we’ll have to pay him back in good gestures. We are ready to vote for Faleke as many times as he desires because we know that it will be more blessings for our people of Ikeja Land.
The traditional leader who was also corroborated by other Chiefs and Baales in attendance said most of his subjects have been coming to demand campaign souvenirs of Hon Faleke and Tinubu and are all ready and willing to work for all the APC candidates in the February 25th and March 11th elections.
Chairperson of APC Ojodu LG, Alhaja Olusola Kokumo also appealed to the traditional fathers that also have in attendance the four Baales within Ikeja and other traditional Chiefs, to mobilize for all the party’s candidates.
Kokumo noted that it’s imperative for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to score the highest vote from his political base, Ikeja and noted that the National Leader is enjoying massive support from the Northern part of the country, hence, the need for Ikeja Progressives to double their efforts to make sure he gets the highest vote from home base as the pride of Ikeja politics.
Rt. Hon Faleke’s aide, Barr Olawale Ajala informed the traditional Council that the workaholic federal lawmaker is very busy with the assignment as the Secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign Council to ensure the victory of Asiwaju’s Presidential ambition come 25th February 2023
