201 new COVID-19 cases recorded in 12 states, FCT

Nigeria’s confirmed cases of coronavirus reached 58,848 on Wednesday night following 201 fresh infections, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said in an update.

Lagos recorded 77 of the 201 cases, followed by Rivers with 37, Plateau with 25 and FCT 13.

The rest are: “Kaduna – 12, Ogun – 12, Adamawa – 8, Taraba – 7, Imo – 4, Kwara – 2, Osun – 2, Abia – 1, and Oyo – 1”

The total confirmed cases so far in Nigeria now stands at 58,848 of which 50,358 have been discharged.

However, the infection has claimed 1,112
