RIVERS POLICE: IGP orders swift investigation, reiterates caution against name-dropping
Following allegations of unprofessionalism, kidnapping, name-dropping, extortion, and illicit enrichment against some officers of the Rivers State Police Command, and the swift intervention of the Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, Ph.D., the officers fingered in a petition by one lsrael Joe on behalf of one Mr. Atubi Davison are being interrogated by the IGP Monitoring Unit as part of ongoing investigation to unravel the allegations and ascertain its veracity for further necessary action.
IGP appoints CP Idrisu Dauda Dabban as Commissioner of Police Katsina State
The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, has ordered the posting of CP Idrisu Dauda Dabban, to Kastina State Command as the new Commissioner of Police (CP) in-charge of the State.
