It was glitz and glam as the All Progressive Congress Ojodu, ward E, on Monday hosted the 13th Ikeja Federal Constituency Walk Through Rally for all its candidates towards the forthcoming general elections.

The rally which was declared open by the LGA Chairman of chair Alhaji Dally Adeokun with the support of Ojodu LCDA Chairperson Alhaja Stella Olusola Kokumo commenced from Agidingbi town hall and terminated at moslem praying ground Omole.

Among the dignitaries that joined in the campaign were Executive Chairman Ojodu LCDA, Honorable David Olusegun Odunmbaku and his vice Honorable Olubunmi Oluyadi.

Others include Chairperson Onigbongbo LCDA Alhaja Iyabo Akerele, Alhaji Muyideen Kehinde Onifade and Bar. Olawale Ajala representing the MHR, Rt Honorable James Abiodun Faleke who coincidentally was his ward.
During his Opening address Hon David Odunmbaku commended the people for a job well done and said that the work must continue now that the date of the elections is getting closer.
He urged them not to relent but engaged in more rigorous house-to-house and door-to-door campaigns. He hereby encouraged them if truly they love Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Babajide Sanwoolu, James Abiodun Faleke and other APC Candidates, to go and get their Permanent Voters Card, so as to be able to vote for them in the coming elections.
He said that over 15,000 PVCs are still lying fallow in INEC office, he concluded.
Speaking in the same vein, Alhaja Stella Kokumo encouraged the people to take advantage of the extension by INEC to get their PVCs. It is not by word of mouth but action, she emphasized.

Consequently, Alhaji Dally Adeokun called on all the Canvasser agent to begin their filling of the form and the House to House Campaign as the election is fast approaching.
He implored them to get their Permanent Voters Cards ready, so as to be able to vote massively for all the APC Candidates during the general elections.

He, therefore, concluded that the walk-through rally is remaining 5 wards,with Onigbongbo ward E hosting the Constituency on Wednesday.
The walk rally was attended by Party leaders, Stakeholders, loyalists, LGA Executives, Counsellors, members and well-wishers.
