Ojodu ward C on Friday hosted the All Progressive Congress (APC) Ikeja Federal Constituency Walk-Through Rally in continuation of the sensitization and grassroots engagement of voters towards canvassing for votes for all the party’s candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
The walk rally declared open by Alhaji Dally Adeokun the Chairman of APC Ikeja and the 57 APC LGA Chairmen in Lagos State with the host LGA Chairperson for Ojodu LCDA Alhaja Stella Olusola Kokumo, commenced from Muyibi Junction and terminated at Adeyemi Alao street, Oke-ira.
The walk Campaign was also witnessed by Political leaders, members and other stakeholders from Ikeja local government, Ojodu and Onigbongbo LCDAs, who Rally around the entire Ojodu ward C.
Among them were the Vice Chairman Ojodu LCDA, Honorable Olubunmi Oluyadi, Alhaja Iyabo Akerele, Onigbongbo LCDA Chairperson and Bar. Olawale Ajala makes a host of others.
In his speech, Hon Olubunmi Oluyadi emphasized the need for the Party members to go and get their Permanent Voters Card ready and to also intensify their house-to-house Campaign.
He urged them not to rest on their oars but to continue to mobilize more and more people to vote for all the APC Candidates during the election.
Also in the same vein Alhaja Kokumo, after commending and appreciating all the Party leaders, loyalists and members present, also called on the people to go and get their PVCs ready as the closing date is getting closer.
Consequently, Mayegun Dally Adeokun while making his own speech, presented the Canvasser form which will be made available to each of the committees of the fifteen Polling units.
Adeokun said the form will be given to them to mobilize 19 others to vote to make 20 on the day of the election, so as to be able to achieve the 200,000 votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other Candidates in Ikeja Federal Constituency. He said that the form will be made available to all ward Chairman for onward transmission to all the Polling agents of the Party..
The personal aide to Rt. Hon James Abiodun Faleke, Barr Ajala whose ward coincidentally hosted the rally in a chat with Lagos Panorama during the walk, urged residents of Ikeja Federal Constituency to go all out and get their PVCs and vote massively for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, reelect Governor Sanwo-Olu, top rank federal lawmaker Rt. Hon James Abiodun Faleke who has passionately and generously empowered his constituents and all other APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
“I can tell you unequivocally that over 600 residents of Ikeja Federal Constituency are undergoing training in fisheries and will be given cash grants to commence or expand their fish farms”.
“Another over 600 hundred youths are positively engaged in the ongoing Ikeja Games in various sporting activities which include football, basketball, table tennis, and a host of others and all participants will go home with cash incentives and mouthwatering cash prizes for winners, all powered by Rt. Hon James Abiodun Faleke”.
“This is a phenomenon, it is the first of its kind, this is top-notch quality representation, and I am sure Ikeja like good things and they’ll continue to vote for Faleke” he affirmed.
