This was contained in a press release signed and forwarded to Lagos Panorama by the Head, Public Affairs Unit of the Council, Odunfa, M. Oyeleke, who stated that “Hon. Idowu reiterated the commitment of his administration to complete the ongoing projects before the end of the year 2022 while rendering his laudable achievements on dividends of democracy to the people, noting that ” it is our desire to do more on various sectors to make lives more meaningful to the people. “

The LG Boss revealed the proposed projects for 2023 which include: Construction of a Concrete footbridge at Origele Village, the Construction of kikelomo Street, Ajagbandi, the Construction of Surulere Street, Mile 10, Ojo, Construction of Costain Road, Ojo among others.

He then appealed to the Residents to always pay their rates and bills as at when due, adding that the Local Government would always count on their unflinching support to achieve laudable feats.

The Head of Department, Budget and Planning, Ojo Local Government, Mr. Lookman Onitiri delivered an analysis of the year 2022 Budget performance and proposed the Year 2023 Budget, hoping for a realistic budget with the support of the stakeholders.

In his own remark, the Chairman of the Community Development Committee, Alhaji Niyi Makinde commended the Chairman’s achievements in Community Development and requested more mass-oriented projects across the five Political Wards in the Area.

The occasion was witnessed by the Leader of the Council, Hon. Solomon Olufemi Whusu, Hon Councillors, Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Babatunde Lawal Olorunfunmi,Exco Members, Council Manager, Mrs.Esther Yetunde Ajose and Management team, APC Apex Leader, Alhaji Raji Olorunfunmi,APC Candidate,Ojo Constituency 1,Comrade Olusegun Ege, Party Leaders and all the Stakeholders in the area.
