Your labour will not be in vain: Lagos Speaker Obasa tells workers

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Mudashiru Obasa said Nigerian workers should continue to work toward the greatness of Nigeria, assuring them that their labour would not be in vain.

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Mudashiru Obasa said Nigerian workers should continue to work toward the greatness of Nigeria, assuring them that their labour would not be in vain.

Obasa gave the assurance in his goodwill message to commemorate the 2022 Workers’ Day in Lagos on Sunday.

The speaker praised all Nigerian workers for their sacrifice and resilience despite the challenges.

He said: “The Nigerian workers deserve to be celebrated and apart from making up the society, your contributions have made Nigeria great.

“They are unarguably one of the most dedicated, resilient, and hardworking in the world. They remain a key driver of the country’s multi-faceted development.”

He congratulated workers for staying positive and being worthy partners in nation-building.

Obasa, however, urged the workers to continue to make the country greater.
