

It was glitz and glamour as members and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ikeja Local Government and Ojodu LCDA, community/religious leaders and other well wishers of the former Sole Administrator, Ikeja Local Government Council, Engineer Abiodun Oluwaseyi Taiwo joined him in the celebration of his 48th birthday and also used the auspicious occasion to declared his aspiration for the Ikeja Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly on Wednesday at the open space of Bisi Ogabi Street/Fadeyi Aladura Street, Ikeja, Lagos, Southwest, Nigeria.

The massively attended carnival-like event commenced with prayers in both Christian and Islamic faiths.
Councilors from the Ikeja Legislative Council led by their Leader, Hon Ayotunde Adenuga were among notable politicians that attended the event from the ten wards of Ikeja LG and Ojodu LCDA that make the Ikeja Constituency II.
The former member of Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), made his declaration to contest for the Lagos State House of Assembly (LSHA) Ikeja Constituency II in the presence of the excited APC faithful and Community Leaders at the event.

He promised to run an open door policy, where everyone will be carried along in the activities of the State Assembly and create opportunities for a better livelihood to members of the constituents.
Other notable persons at the event include three former Leaders of both Ikeja and Ojodu Legislative Councils, Hon Edward Aragbonfoh, Hon Adetoro Adebowale and Hon Bello Tajudeen amongst other Former Past Councilors.

Also in attendance were traditional and religious leaders, artisan groups, Chairmen of Community Development Associations, South-South groups, Igara Women group and a host of other stakeholders.
Leaders of all the groups expressed their readiness and support for the actualization of the ambition of the former Sole Administrator of Ikeja LGC, whom they also confirmed to his qualitative performance within the 11 months of administering the council.
