The veteran actor died early Friday, 1 April, 2022.

His death was announced by another actor, Kunle Afod on his verified Instagram page.

Also, another actor, Yemi My Lover, confirmed the sad news in his WhatsApp status.

He simply said: “So sad. Dejo, may your soul rest in peace.”

The name Kunle Makinde may not ring a bell but Dejo Tunfulu definitely does since his stage name became the one he was identified with throughout his lifetime.

The cause of his death was not known immediately but colleagues confirmed that he has been suffering from unknown illness in recent time.
