A wooden link bridge has been built on Ademola Sanya Street by odò-ẹran Ejigbo LCDA to link Agunleri Street in Agodo community Egbe-Idimu LCDA in Lagos state.
The bridge that was commissioned today by the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA Alh Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello OBE ably represented by the distinguish vice chairman Hon Sunday Ayodele Ayodeji (SMA).
SMA while relating the message of the chairman to the gathering said the chairman sent him to preach love and oneness among the people of both communities and also to tell them that it should be business and any other thing, Patience and tolerance should their watchword always while dealing with their customers.
Mr Lawrence Olushola Orimogunje MD CEO Olio worldwide who sponsored the construction of the bridge explain how it has taken so much capital to invest in constructing the link bridge and how he has put in place every necessary measures to see there is success in achieving the aims for building the bridge . He further said the bridge is built to convey mini-buses, cars, suv’s, tricycles, motorcycles and pedestrians at a very affordable cost.
The vice chairman of Egbe-idimu Hon Mutiu Adebiyi (AṢỌ ÌBORA) who also represents his chairman Hon Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo KSO also reiterates on what the vice chairman of Ejigbo LCDA has said and added that since the presence of the Police, Neighbourhood watch and NSCDC has been in place that the local security personnel too Odudua peoples Congress should be involved for better team work.
The engineer who built the bridge with his team of carpenters engineer Baba Sule gave unending kudos to the financier and the the two local government chairmen who has agreed that there should be a link bridge to ease the suffering of the masses within the two neighbouring communities, he further said that it has not been easy working in the swamp to put up the bridge but to the glory of God its done deal now.
The CEO of Ollykumar animals slaughter Mr Olawale Jimoh who has a business situated on the same road emphasised on the civilization that the bridge will open and also pave way for business men and women within both communities to have more gains in their businesses and also reiterate that the link and area at large won’t be allowed to be porous for any reason.
