Agege Council Chairman, Hon Egunjobi receives booster jab

The Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government Area of Lagos State, Chief GK Egunjobi, on Wednesday, received a booster jab in protection against the Omicron variant of COVID-19.

Chief Egunjobi who took the jab in his office urged the council’s staff and residents to get their COVID-19 booster vaccine in order to curtail the spread of the easily transmissible virus.

Speaking, “The Booster shots increase protection against Omicron. I call on you to encourage more people to find the motivation to get the jab and help the fight against the virus.

“My motivation to get the first 2 vaccines and the booster is to remain healthy and continue to be at work at all times for the betterment of Agege Local Government”.

“I urge people who are yet to take the jabs to do so now, so we can keep ourselves and our loved ones safe from COVID-19 as we look forward to a prosperous 2022” advised the Council Chairman.
