Lagos drives employability amongst youth

The Lagos State government through the Ministry of Wealth Creation is pursuing the vision of ensuring that Young people from the age of 18yrs are properly equipped with skills that will make them employable and self reliant.

The Lagos State government through the Ministry of Wealth Creation is pursuing the vision of ensuring that Young people from the age of 18yrs are properly equipped with skills that will make them employable and self reliant.

The Commissioner for the Ministry of Wealth Creation, Hon. (Mrs.) Yetunde Arobieke in her speech eulogized the Governor of the State, Gov. Babajide Sanwoolu for addressing the issue of employability through the skill acquisition initiative. Across the state young people will be trained in a skill and upon completing the training will immediately be empowered with necessary equipment to practice.

The Council Chairman, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh thanked the governor for his proactiveness at ensuring that Young people are properly engaged. He said, “In Amuwo-Odofin youth engagement is the secret behind the peaceful coexistence we enjoy”

The ministry assured participants who have registered their names that the programme will commemce earnestly.
