Mr. Ibrahim Odumboni led his team of waste managers to a stakeholders meeting in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Secretariat to initiate the Clean-up exercise.

In his speech he said, “Waste Management is a collective responsibility, that all stakeholders must get involved”. He also chided the operators of PSP to be innovative in their style of service delivery.

The Council Chairman who returned from another engagement to join the stakeholders forum, appealed to residents to do the needful for a clean environment.

Mr. Taiwo, the guest facilitator in his presentation revealed that waste can be converted to wealth via sorting of waste.

A collective resolution derived from the stakeholders meeting was to totally eradicate the activities of cart pushers across the local government as LAWMA promised to cleanup all illegal dumpsite across the local government in 2 weeks.
