On the 4th of October 2021, 141 new confirmed cases were recorded in Nigeria

Till date, 206279 cases have been confirmed, 194167 cases have been discharged and 2723 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 141 new cases are reported from 9 states- Rivers (33), Gombe (32), Lagos (29), Imo (25), Plateau (9), Benue (5), Borno (4), Kano (3) and Delta (1)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
