COVID-19: NCDC confirms 650 new cases, Lagos records 261 and and 53 deaths

The 650 new cases are reported from 17 states- Lagos (261), Ondo (95), Rivers (80), Akwa Ibom (59), Oyo (24), Ekiti (22), Delta (20), Edo (18), Enugu (15), Bayelsa (14), Ogun (11), Kaduna (8), Plateau (7), Kano (6), FCT (5), Gombe (3), and Abia (2)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities

On the 28th of August 2021, 650 new confirmed cases and 53 deaths were recorded in Nigeria
