The Executive Chairman Oshodi/Isolo Local Government, Hon Kehinde Oloyede has inaugurated and proclaimed the Oshodi-Isolo Legislative Council on Tuesday shortly after he and his Vice, Hon Modupe Badmus were among the 57 Lagos Councils Chairmen and Vice sworn in by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos House.
Hon. Rasheed Obasa , Councilor representing Oluyeye ward returned as the Leader of the Legislative Council, while Hon Femi Wasiu Mustapha from Shogunle Ward emerged as the Deputy Leader of the House.
Hon. Azeez Jaiyeola from Igbehinadun emerged as Majority Leader
Hon. Alabi Ige From Ewu ward was elected as the whip
Hon Olojede has again reiterated after his swearing-in, that he has come to work.
One of his campaign promises was the reconstruction of 20 roads in the first 100 days in office. Kendoo as he is fondly called by Political associates, hit the ground running, with the inauguration and proclamation of the Oshodi-Isolo Legislative Council, grassroots legislators.
