The President, Iru/Victoria Island Youth Forum, Olaleye Kausara has refuted the allegation made by Hon Akinwunmi Bayoade alleging the incumbent Chairman of Iru/ Victoria Island Hon Princess Rasheedat Adu of forged certificate.

THE LIES INVOLVED, THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER, THE CONSPIRACY OF AKINWUNMI BAYOADE, THE CALCULATED ATTEMPT TO DERAIL THE PUBLIC FROM VOTING THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS IN THE FOURTH COMING COUNCIL POLLS IN IRU/VICTORIA ISLAND AREA OF LAGOS STATE.
Our attention has been drawn to a wide spread allegation in some online and social media platforms by one Akinwunmi Bayoade, who claimed that Princess Rasheedat Adu; Executive Chairman of Iru/Victoria Island forged her SSCE result in 1987 and that she is not eligible to be returned as the APC flag bearer in the forthcoming council polls.
In the body of the allegation the strayed Akinwunmi Bayoade alleged that Hon (Princess) Rasheedat Adu “she claimed to have attended Lagos State University (LASU) but in actual fact she didn’t have the prerequisites qualification for admission into the said University and she never attended the school and that she actually has three subjects at credit level in her WAEC held in May/June 1987 with candidate number 15559043, when the minimum entry requirement for degree course in LASU is five credits including English and Mathematics.
We wish to state clearly that the allegation being spread by the Akinwunmi Bayoade is perfidious, wicked, perjured, and a calculated attempt to besmirch the image of the All Progressives Congress and that of Princess Adu (the most performing council boss in Lagos State)
We condemn the allegation as it is unfounded and baseless; sponsored by this riff raff whose goal amongst others is to bring the name APC to disrepute by not seeing anything good in whatever the party does.
This hypocritical campaign and vilifying false claims are entirely scurrilous, disparaging, mud-slinging, unfounded in facts, irresponsible and a brazen punch on the integrity of the APC as a political platform.
However, and in response to the unfounded allegations of the busybody, Princess Adu sat for SSCE in 1987 and graduated from the most populous state university in the world. You can confirm with the school for fact findings. She is a proud daughter of Iru and a council boss with honors.
On the above account, we state it clearly that she is not only qualified but fulfilled all the conditions leading to her return as the Executive Chairman of Iru/Victoria Island local council.
For the records, she was dully screened by top members of the party alongside other counterparts.
That given to the above, IT IS NOT THINKABLE nor does it make any sense that the ruling party in Nigeria will return anyone as a council boss without following its laid down rules as alleged by the busybody; Akinwunmi Bayoade.
For the avoidance of doubts, the APC is a body corporate and its activities are governed by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and its own made rules. It is therefore not plausible for Akinwunmi Bayoade to expressly go against a constitutional requirement as alleged by the rif raff.
At this juncture, we commend the APC for a job well done by returning our hardworking chairperson as the candidate of the party and we implore the APC TO SET THE MACHINERY OF THE LAW IN MOTION against the drafters of such image destroying petition targeted at the council boss and the image of the party.
We state once again that Princess (Hon) Rasheedat Adu, the executive chairman of Iru/Victoria Island is eminently qualified to be the flag bearer of the party in the forth-coming council polls.
Finally we urge the general public to take a deem view of the allegation and threat it as one of those allegations authored by attention seekers.
We consequently urge the party to discountenance the allegation as it is wicked and baseless.
We therefore urge Akinwunmi Bayoade to immediately tender an unreserved apology to the APC and Princess (Hon) Rasheedat Adu; council boss, Iru/Victoria Island in three national dailies.
