Hon. Fatai Adekunle Ayoola on Monday embarked on inspection tour of Fasasi Street in Araromi community of the LGA.
His administration had earlier in January 2021, reiterated it’s commitment to completing all outstanding projects before the end of July this year.
The remaining parts on Fasasi Street which is under construction is expected to complete the interlocking paving stones adopted for the road construction in the area.
In a bid to race against time, the council mayor, Hon. Ayoola said that the road construction should be completed and ready for commissioning in the month of May 2021.
“This remaining parts, hopefully should be ready for commissioning next week,” he said.
The council mayor, Hon. Ayoola who is seeking re-election for a second term in office, also inspected ongoing construction works at the proposed new secretariat and banquet hall in the council secretariat.
In his words: “This secretariat should be ready before July 2021, and it will be one of our memorable legacies as a government in the grassroots.”
Other ongoing projects by the Hon. Fatai Adekunle Ayoola’s administration includes Ibafon Street, Kudaisi Street, Maracana Sports complex, Tolu Housing estate and Taiwo Street.
