The much anticipated VOB grassroot leadership colloquium patterned after that of the mentor of Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Colloquium was a success as expected.
The event which took place at the Perfecto hotel had in attendance leaders of various institutions, communities, associates and interest groups.
The speakers; Bisi Akande and Otunba Adedotun Adegbola emphasized on the importance of Leadership and it’s future Consequences in line with the theme of the event.
While Bisi Akande enumerated the qualities of a leader which includes character and competence, Otunba Adedotun illustrated examples of leaders such as Dr. Adadevoh who saved Nigeria from Ebola while risking her life.
He also eulogized the several sacrifices of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu that has given birth to exceptional leaders across the nation of which Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh is among.
The Executive Chairman, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh seized the opportunity to share his vision for his 2nd term in office, which includes, constructing a new adminstrative Hall, initiating revolutionary ICT Programme for the youth etc.
The climax of the event was the cutting of the Chairman’s birthday cake to commemorate his birthday
Musical presentation and dance presentation were presentation to add colour to the event.
