Abducted passengers regain freedom, intensifies efforts to release Kagara students

Niger State Government has received the released passengers abducted by bandits along Minna-Tegina road.

The abductees were received at the state house in Minna by the state governor, Abubakar Sanni Bello and other state officials.

The governor said no ransom was paid to secure their release while assuring them of adequate medical attention before releasing them to their families

He said the government is intensifying efforts to also secure the release of the abducted Kagara Government Science College students, staff and their family members.

It will be recalled that the NSTA bus passengers were abducted by armed bandits on their way back to Minna from Rijau, in Rijau Local Government area of the state on Sunday last week at Kundu village, along Minna-Tegina road.
