#EndSARS: VOB on-the-spot-assessment to vandalized properties in Amuwo-Odofin, commiserate with shop owners, festival mall management

The Executive Chairman, Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Engr. Dr. Valentine Buraimoh has visited properties vandalized by the hoodlums who high-jacked the #EndSARS protest for an on the spot assessment of damages and commiserate with shop owners and Management of The Festival Mall.

Dr. Buraimoh stated that “my administration feel your pain and be rest assured that the loss is not just yours but ours. We will do everything under the ambits of the Law to ensure that justice is served to those who committed this crime, while we also solicit from the Federal and State Governments for compensations to cushion the effect of the damages.”

These were the words of the Council Boss to the management of Sims at Apple junction and shops,  Diamond Estate.

At the Festival Mall, the manager of the facility Mr. Orbih Aimhanesi commended the administration for it’s spirited efforts to curtail the miscreants from doing more damage.

Aimhanesi noted “We are grateful for the spirited efforts of the security apparatus you established across the Local Government. They were timely and proactive. We also want to use the opportunity to request that you kindly deliver our goodwill message to the Governor of Lagos State, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, we pray God will continue to bless him with the wisdom to manage the present situation we find ourselves.”.

The Chairman also visited the Police Command in its jurisdiction to commend them for their gallantry efforts to curtail incursion into the Local Government.

“I am committed to ensuring that the synergy between our administration and the Police is concrete and productive. Thank you for your gallantry efforts”. The Chairman said while addressing the Area Commander, ACP M. Halilu.

Dr. Buraimoh also commended the efforts of the Youths, the Nigerian Army, other security formations and the Community leaders for their contributions to ensuring that there was no breakdown of law and order in the Local Government.
