The Council Chairman decries attributes of looters who vandalized government properties.
Upon resumption of work across the nation, the Exectuive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA – Hon. Engr. Julius Olumuyiwa Oloro went across all facilities of government which were burnt and razed down by angry mob within the affected communities in the course of the protest that went haywire.

The council boss was at the venue for an on-the-spot assessment of the facilities to see the level of damage done. Places he visited includes:

1. Ojodu Primary School, Ojodu
2. Ojodu Divisional Police Station
3. Vehicle Inspection and Federal Road Safety Offices
4. Public Works Corporation
5. BRT bus terminus, Ojodu Berger
6. Aguda roundabout, Aguda
The Chairman implored all youths resident within Ojodu LCDA to take responsibility of ownership of government properties within their neighbourhood, see it as theirs and guard it jealously. He emphasized the need to also join the campaign for protection of lives and properties for the future we desire.

He however decries the destruction of government properties within the council territory particularly that done at Ojodu Primary School which will definitely have a direct and indirect impact on the current students and alumni who have passed out of the elementary school.

Honourable Oloro however urged compliance to security and orderliness within the council as he resumed office to continue governance.
