VOB flags off 3rd anniversary in office with media parley

The Executive Chairman, Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Dr Valentine Buraimoh has flagged off the three days event to commemorate his 3rd year in office as Executive Chairman with a press conference.

The press conference which took place at the newly renovated multi-purpose hall within the council premises afforded the Chairman the opportunity to present his score card to the public.

The Council boss in his address, emphatically expressed the resilient efforts of the administration to ensure that governance did not collapse in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government with the pandemic sweeping across the world.

He made mention of the council refocusing it’s lenses of operation to accommodate an holistic welfare programme for vulnerable citizens through food paliatives and training of business hubs on preventive measures and guidelines.

Regardless of the crisis laden better part of the year, Dr Buraimoh said his administration was able to ride the tide by continuing in the execution of several developmental projects. Roads were rehabilitated, classrooms renovated, Area offices were constructed. etc.

The media parley climaxed with reporters engaging the Mayor in a question and answer session.
