The awards were presented during CAN Ikeja’s 2026 Revival Programme, themed “Thy Kingdom Come,” held yesterday at Christ the Light Church, Alausa, Ikeja.

Faleke was conferred with the Servant Leadership Merit Award, while AKOD received the Servant Stewardship Leadership Award.

Speaking after receiving his award, AKOD expressed gratitude to CAN for the recognition, describing the honour as a renewed motivation to serve the people and deliver greater dividends of democracy.

He dedicated the award to the people of Ikeja, whose mandate he received about 16 months ago, reaffirming his commitment to intensifying efforts towards improving their welfare and advancing community development across the local government.

Representing Faleke at the ceremony, the Supervisor for Environment, Ikeja Local Government, Hon. Edward Aragbonfoh, said the federal lawmaker deeply appreciated the recognition and remained committed to supporting initiatives that would promote sustainable development across Ikeja Federal Constituency.

Delivering the sermon, the founder and Senior Pastor of Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM), Pastor Wole Oladiyun, charged political and religious leaders to embrace divine wisdom, integrity and accountability in the discharge of their leadership responsibilities.

The revival programme also featured special prayers for the Church, Ikeja Local Government, Lagos State and Nigeria, as CAN leaders and other ministers called for divine intervention in the affairs of the nation.
