HAMZAT COURTS ROYAL FATHERS, ENGAGES IKORODU RESIDENTS ON LAGOS DEVELOPMENT

LAGOS — Lagos State Deputy Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate for the 2027 General Election, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has continued his engagement with traditional rulers and residents across Lagos, seeking their support and counsel ahead of the election.

Hamzat, in a series of posts on his official Facebook page on Friday, disclosed that he met with the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabiru Shotobi, alongside other prominent royal fathers and Baálẹ̀s across Ikorodu Division.

He expressed appreciation for the warm reception and valuable counsel received from the traditional institution, describing their support as deeply significant.

The APC governorship candidate reaffirmed his commitment to building a Lagos where every community matters, every voice counts and the gains recorded by the administration are sustained and expanded.

In a separate engagement, Hamzat met with the Paramount Ruler of Epe, His Royal Majesty Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, alongside other traditional rulers and Baálẹ̀s across Epe Division.

According to him, Epe occupies a special place in both his personal story and the history of Lagos State, adding that he was grateful for the warmth and support extended to him during the engagement.

Hamzat said his administration would build on the progress already recorded while creating a Lagos where every community can look to the future with hope, confidence and renewed optimism.

He further pledged to continue working towards a more inclusive and progressive Lagos that gives every resident something to be proud of.

HAMZAT ENGAGES IKD RADIO

As part of his engagements in Ikorodu, Hamzat also visited IKD Radio 106.1 FM, where he participated in an interactive discussion on developments and ongoing projects across Lagos State.

The conversation focused on the current state of affairs, ongoing development initiatives and how government projects directly impact the daily lives of residents.

Hamzat thanked the management and staff of IKD Radio for hosting him, as well as listeners who tuned in to the programme.

He reiterated his commitment to delivering tangible results for Ikorodu and every part of Lagos State, while assuring residents that the administration would remain focused on inclusive development and improved quality of life.
