Adediran denies securing ticket from Tinubu

Abdul-Azeez Adediran has denied claims that he secured any political ticket from President Bola Tinubu as part of his return to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Adediran made the clarification while speaking on Politics Today, where he insisted that his decision to rejoin the ruling party was not tied to any agreement or promise.

“The President never promised me a ticket and I did not also give him any condition to rejoin the party,” he said.

The Lagos governorship aspirant, popularly known as Jandor, maintained that his move was based on personal conviction rather than any negotiated arrangement.

His comments come amid scrutiny over his return to the APC, especially following his earlier criticism of the party while he was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), where he had described it as a failure.

Responding to the concerns, Adediran suggested that his current political stance reflects a reassessment of realities, as alignments continue to shift ahead of future elections.
