Ejigbadero Boosts Governance with Distribution of 14 Official Vehicles in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA

In a decisive move to strengthen administrative efficiency and service delivery, the Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon Abiodun Jimoh Isola Ejigbadero, on Friday, April 17, 2026, handed over 14 official vehicles to key political office holders and senior council officials.

In a decisive move to strengthen administrative efficiency and service delivery, the Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon Abiodun Jimoh Isola Ejigbadero, on Friday, April 17, 2026, handed over 14 official vehicles to key political office holders and senior council officials.

The presentation, held at the council secretariat, attracted top council executives, legislators, management staff, and stakeholders, who applauded the chairman’s proactive approach to improving governance and operational performance.

Beneficiaries of the vehicles include the Vice Chairman, Hon. Kehinde Shobayo; Leader of the House, Hon. Giwa Wasiu Aduragbemi; Deputy Leader, Hon. Gbolahan Lateef Jimoh; Majority Leader, Hon. Oyebola Adebisi; Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Obaleye Kehinde Adetunji; and Chief Whip (Ward B), Hon. Yusuf Bolarinwa Aderupoko.

Others are Deputy Chief Whip (Ward E), Hon. Bukola Lawal; Member (Ward A), Hon. Afolabi Busola Esther; Chief of Staff, Rasheed Rabiu; Head of Public Affairs, Rabiu Hassan; Procurement Officer, Mrs. Adeniji Oriyomi; Legal Officer, Abidemi Layode; WAPA representative, Oluwagbeminiyi Adebanjo; and Head of Education Department, Mrs. Oyalowo Sarah.

Addressing attendees, Chairman Ejigbadero described the initiative as part of a broader strategy to equip officials with the tools needed for effective service delivery, noting that improved mobility would enhance responsiveness to residents’ needs.

“These vehicles are not symbols of luxury, but instruments of service,” he stated, urging beneficiaries to deploy them responsibly in the interest of the people.

Responding on behalf of recipients, Vice Chairman Hon. Kehinde Shobayo praised the chairman’s inclusive leadership, assuring that the vehicles would be used to boost productivity and service delivery.

Similarly, Head of Public Affairs, Rabiu Hassan, described the initiative as a morale booster that would enhance communication and community engagement, while the Head of Education Department, Mrs. Oyalowo Sarah, noted that it would strengthen monitoring of schools and educational programmes.

Leader of the House, Hon. Giwa Wasiu Aduragbemi, also commended the gesture, highlighting its positive impact on legislative effectiveness and constituency representation.

In her remarks, Council Manager, Mrs. Fregene Gbemisola, said the distribution reflects a clear understanding of administrative needs and would significantly improve coordination, policy implementation, and overall workforce performance.

The event underscored the administration’s commitment to responsive governance and grassroots development across Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA.
