A new national advocacy platform, the Renewed Hope Alive Movement (RHAM), has been officially launched in Lagos to support the reform agenda and second-term bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The launch, held on April 7, 2026, at the Radisson Hotel Ikeja, drew a diverse audience of private sector leaders, public office holders, and captains of industry from across the country.
In his opening remarks, the Convener, Prince Kayode Tejuosho, described RHAM as a collective voice dedicated to promoting verifiable national achievements while fostering optimism, accountability, and shared responsibility among Nigerians. He explained that the movement was initiated by a coalition of private stakeholders representing various sectors of the economy.
Tejuosho noted that RHAM aims to bridge the gap between government reforms and public understanding by countering misinformation with verified data and fact-based narratives. According to him, the movement seeks to empower citizens with the knowledge required to make informed decisions and actively participate in nation-building.
He further outlined plans to expand RHAM nationwide, with structures to be established across the six geopolitical zones, all states, 774 local government areas, and 8,809 wards. Each state, he added, will have designated coordinators to drive grassroots engagement, education, and advocacy on the administration’s policies.
The event also featured the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Dr. Kayode Opeifa, who served as Special Guest of Honour. He commended the initiative and urged Nigerians to rise above ethnic divisions in support of reforms aimed at building a stronger nation.
Highlights of the launch included the unveiling of the RHAM logo by Dr. Opeifa and the presentation of the movement’s slogan by Mrs. Tejuosho, wife of the convener.
