It was a moment of joy and celebration on Saturday, March 28, 2026, as Abdul Afiz Olamilekan Agbosasa, the second son of Prince Olubodun Shamsideen Agbosasa of the Olumegbon and Oluwa chieftaincy families of Lagos Island and the Amore/Odu Apena royal lineage of Ikeja, tied the knot with Abibat Balogun, the third daughter of Chief Ayuba Balogun, the Mayegun of Okota Kingdom, Lagos State.
The Nikkah ceremony, officiated by Chief Immam Abdul Afiz Olowolagba, took place at Responsible Leaders Hotel, Alausa (formerly Ostra Hotel), drawing a large gathering of family members, friends, and dignitaries from across Lagos State.
The wedding enjoyed strong moral and financial support from prominent figures and political associates, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke, Comrade Akeem Dauda, Chairman Governing Council of the Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Engr. Kehinde Akinola, Prince Dr. Rotimi Martins, Hon. Akambi Oluwa, Hon. Stephen Ogundipe, Hon. Mola Amure, Otunba Ademola Amure, and Prince Barrister Adekunle Apena, among others.
