The Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area, Hon. Adetola Adunni Abubakar, has sworn in a 20-member team of Supervisors and key appointees to strengthen the administrative structure of the council and accelerate grassroots development.
The inauguration ceremony, held on Saturday at the council secretariat, was conducted by the council’s Legal Officer, Barrister Rabiu Kazeem, marking a significant step in the constitution of the local government’s executive cabinet.
The newly inaugurated team comprises 16 men and four women. Among them is Mr. Tajudeen Akinyemi, who was appointed Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), alongside a team of Supervisors and Special Advisers tasked with overseeing critical sectors of the council’s operations.
Addressing the appointees shortly after their swearing-in, Chairman Abubakar urged them to regard their appointments as a call to service and demonstrate commitment, innovation, and integrity in the discharge of their responsibilities.
“I am confident in the ability of this team to drive our agenda for progress,” she said. “Their diverse experiences will be invaluable as we work to deliver efficient governance and tangible development to our people.”
She emphasized that the inclusion of women in the executive team underscores her administration’s commitment to gender representation and inclusive governance.
