Agboyi-Ketu Chairman Leads Road Inspection Tour, Reaffirms Commitment to Grassroots Development
Agboyi-Ketu, Lagos – March 4, 2026 – The Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Adetola Adunni Abubakar, on Wednesday personally led Councillors and senior management on an extensive inspection of ongoing road construction projects across the district. 
The initiative highlights the administration’s dedication to transparency, quality control, and tangible grassroots infrastructure development.
The inspection tour covered key arteries within the community, including Balogun-Ilawe Street, Dada-Aga Street, Ogunyinka Street, Adeyinka Street, Kawonise Street, Ali Close, and several link roads. The exercise provided council leaders with a first-hand evaluation of project progress, workmanship, and compliance with set standards.
Chairman Abubakar described the tour as a strategic oversight, designed to ensure that all projects align with the council’s core mandate of improving residents’ quality of life. “The visible progress reflects an administration that listens, acts, and delivers,” she said, commending the pace and quality of ongoing works.
The exercise also underscores the administration’s 8-Point Agenda, which prioritizes:

Proper maintenance ensures longer-lasting roads and safer, cleaner neighborhoods,” she stated.
