The initiative, aimed at expanding access to higher education, drew commendation from beneficiaries and residents, many of whom described it as a timely intervention that would ease the financial burden on families and create pathways to academic advancement.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Abubakar reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to residents of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area. She emphasised that education remains a central pillar of her administration’s 8-Point Agenda, noting that strategic investment in young people is critical to building a more prosperous and self-reliant community.

The chairman stated that empowering youths through educational support would not only strengthen individual futures but also drive long-term socio-economic development within the LCDA.

The programme underscores the council’s focus on youth development, family support and inclusive governance aimed at expanding opportunities for all residents.
