According to a statement shared on his official social media handle, the ad-hoc committee was constituted by the leadership of the House of Representatives to examine the effectiveness of existing export incentive frameworks and identify gaps that have contributed to revenue shortfalls. The lawmaker also revealed that he participated as a member of the House Conference Committee on the Electoral Act.
