Ikeja LG Chairman, AKOD Attends Lagos NYSC Cultural Carnival

The vibrant carnival celebrated Nigeria’s rich cultural diversity, featuring traditional dances, cultural performances and indigenous attires representing the country’s various ethnic groups.

The Council Chairman was received at the event by the Lagos State Director of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mrs. Christiana Salmwang, who described his presence as a boost to the prestige and colour of the occasion. The Ikeja Local Government Inspector of NYSC, Mrs. Abosede Ojimi, also joined in welcoming the chairman.May be an image of one or more people

In his remarks, Comrade Dauda commended the NYSC scheme for its role in preserving Nigeria’s cultural heritage and promoting unity among young Nigerians.

He noted that the cultural carnival provides an important platform for strengthening national cohesion and fostering mutual respect among the nation’s diverse peoples.May be an image of one or more people and text

The Ikeja LG boss reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting youth development initiatives and programmes that promote national integration.

He was accompanied to the event by his Chief of Staff, Chief Adeyi Adeniyi.
