Adebanjo Partners Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy to Empower Onigbongbo Youths

The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to youth development and leadership empowerment, following a strategic meeting with the Executive Secretary of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA), Mrs Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade, and her team.

The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to youth development and leadership empowerment, following a strategic meeting with the Executive Secretary of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA), Mrs Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade, and her team.

The meeting focused on forging a partnership aimed at equipping youths in Onigbongbo with critical leadership and life skills needed for responsible citizenship and future readiness.

During the engagement, Mrs Agbaje-Okunade presented the YOU LEAD Leadership Programme, a comprehensive initiative designed to empower young people through structured leadership training and capacity building. The programme is expected to cover core values, future-of-work skills, youth civic engagement, CPR certification and other modules targeted at nurturing effective and socially responsible leaders.

Responding, Hon. Adebanjo commended the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy for the innovative and forward-looking initiative. He expressed appreciation for the visit and assured the Academy of the readiness of the Onigbongbo LCDA to fully support and partner in the successful implementation of the programme for the benefit of youths across the community.

In her remarks, the Executive Secretary of LJLA thanked the Executive Chairman for his support and commitment, noting that the YOU LEAD Leadership Programme would offer valuable learning opportunities and contribute significantly to the personal growth and civic development of Onigbongbo youths.
